| Richard brings some thirty six years of laboratory experience to the position of Practice Manager at North West Pathology. He has worked extensively in the public and private sectors and is committed to the provision of service excellence and the promotion of education within the profession. As a successful fellowship candidate and on the board of directors for the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) and the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS), Richard is committed to ensuring the links between clinical medicine and laboratory medicine remain strong and laboratories provide useful and relevant information to their clients. |

| Tara Vincent commenced her pathology career in 1993 as a medical laboratory scientist with the Launceston General Hospital, then joined North West Pathology in 1995. Starting as a multi-disciplined scientist, Tara then specialised in microbiology, now having a supervisory role in this department. Tara's management studies and experience within the industry helps her significantly in her positions as Assistant Laboratory Manager and Client Services Manager. |

| Derrick trained at the RMIHE, Wagga Wagga, achieving his Bachelor of Applied Science in 1988. After working at New England Pathology for six years, he moved to Tasmania in 1997. In 2003 Derrick took up a position as Core Lab Coordinator in Biochemistry at our Burnie laboratory. Derrick's interests in the laboratory include Quality Control, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Computing. |

| Dion graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1991 and has been working for North West Pathology since 1992 at Burnie, Mersey and Queenstown. | Moira graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1994 with a Bachelor of Medical Science and commenced work with North West Pathology in December 1994. Since then Moira has completed a Graduate Diploma of Genetic Counselling with Charles Sturt University (2003). Moira is one of our team of four core laboratory supervisors, with knowledge in haematology, genetics, coagulation, blood transfusion and quality assurance. |

Jann is now the Histology Supervisor in Launceston, which encompasses supervision of histology at North West Pathology. Jann has a Masters in OH&S and is the Safety Manager for DSPL. |

| Chris qualified as a registered nurse in 1974 at the North West Regional Hospital, and has worked with North West Pathology since 1980. She completed a Family Planning Certificate in 1985, is a member of the Tasmania Infection Control Association (TICA) and is an Approved Health Care Worker (pre/post discussion) in Tasmania. Chris has extensive experience in pathology collection and techniques, including paediatric collection and training. |
